DJay Pro for Mac - Karaoke?

Hi everyone,

I currently DJ for a pub 3 nights a week, and recently upgraded to DJay Pro. What can I say, the app is superb! The Landlord has asked me to start doing Karaoke.

I'm aware the software has video support of some kind but am not sure if i can use karaoke with it? Presumably I load the track onto the deck (the tracks are video files with the lyrics) and it will play as a video, and I can put the lyrics onto another monitor, so the singer can see what they're singing?

If you already have the software, why don't you just try it out yourself instead of waiting to be handheld?

Or get some proper karaoke software (of which there is loads)?

I don't yet have the karaoke tracks to test on my software. I don't really want to use 'proper karaoke software' as I only just got everything working with the software I recently bought. Also this has been foisted on me with not long to prepare, and if i mess up then god knows what will happen.

How did you go with DJay Pro and Karaoke? Also, if you were successful, where did you get Karaoke sources?

I didn't bother in the end, and this was posted at least a year or more ago.
