DJI’s New Osmo Pocket

Seen this in Best Buy this morning and got a few pictures.

It will be interesting to see how this holds up to the GoPro Hero 7.

I have a hero 7 black which is waterproof without a housing to a certain depth. The osmo is not and will need a housing. But I will say I would like an Osmo pocket as well. Hero 7 black has software stabilization which is good vs the Osmo gimbal which is supposed to be really good.

Received my new toy!
I wouldn’t say it’s a complete replacement of the Hero 7 at all. More a compliment. Both have their different places and uses, and both great!

Mine came today and I wholly agree. It is complimentary not competition. I do have bias towards DJI's cameras. I'm not a fan of the extra wide Action Cam look. I appreciate the DJIs more cinematic approach.

I tend to use my GoPro in the linear mode more often then any other, unless Im in a wide open space then medium is usually good too.
