On friday all my cellular data was wasted in a huge amount of DNS services.

Could my iPhone has been used in a ddos attack? Or why it used a lot of data in something that don't need to use big amount of data.

I am using the latest version of iOS 10 and before this version I have never detected any usage of DNS Services data.

I check with other iPhone and it also has some amount of data from DNS services but very low usage compared to the other iPhone.

At the moment that my iPhone started using huge amount of DNS services data I only have 500MB left and they were wasted only on that. If I have more data it would also be used only on DNS services.

This issue is big because you can't stop or limit how much data DNS services use in iOS 10

That was my thread that C DM had posted above, so I'm in the same boat with you. My DNS says 1.2 GB now
