I have Anker earbuds; and use them with my MacBook Pro and my iPhone. I always have to delete them from the bluetooth system settings and re-pair them on both devices. Do the Apple AirPods auto connect to multiple devices? Or will they at least re-pair without deleting the previous connection.

AirPods will seamless pair with all of your Apple devices and automatically switch audio to the device you're using. It's pretty neat. I think the automatic switching is really smart, but you can override it if you need to, or turn it off completely in settings.

But when you have five pairs of Airpods like myself, it seems that apple will drop the last two or sets from whatever device you are on. So they only seem to sync about 3 pairs at a time across all your devices.

I have five AirPod and Beat devices, and they are all there.
