Do any of you use the workout app for skipping?

I‘ve had a look on Amazon, and there’s a good selection of ’cordless” skipping ropes.

Basically, there is about a foot of cord on each side, and a weighted ball at the end, so it doesn’t mess up your floor.

I’ve already set a 30 minute skipping workout on the watch, so it appears to be doable.

If anyone has experience of this, I’d love to know if you found it helpful.

Thanks.

I have been skipping rope since the pandemic started (lost 10kg over the few years!) and have been using the Watch to track these sessions since then. It’s ok I guess, the activity does not track the number of skips you take so it’s basically just very broad metrics like calories burned and time spent skipping. It’s almost frustratingly light on information and I sometimes switch to using indoor run instead - I reckon the activity levels are pretty similar and there are way more metrics for tracking indoor runs like distance covered, the ability to mark segments etc.

Many thanks.

And well done on your weight loss 👍🏼.
