Do AppleStore's repair dead hard drives under warranty?

First the screen kept flickering; apple replace the lcd lid. Now, 3 weeks later, the hard disk is completely dead.

will the applestore replace this on site, or is this another mail in to apple?

I'm 99% sure that they would.

I just had my HDD replaced and while they didn't have to send the laptop out they had to order the HDD as they said apple won't let them stock them....what ever to that.

But I dropped the computer off Monday and had it back Thursday.
