iPhone Do custom carrier bundle files get carried over through iTunes?

Hey guys yesterday my phone started freezing and crashing very badly and after several reboots it finally stopped but I noticed that my phone is no longer connecting to tmobile LTE.

I think my problem may be the fact that I had the hacked tmobile carrier update 16.2 and after the crashed and reboots it reverted to 15.5 and updated to 15.6. I restored my phone and then restored the backup, my phone still doesn't connect to LTE....

Also at the time of the crashes yesterday, I went over my data limit so maybe tmobile is kicking people off LTE and onto regular throttled 4g if they go over data limit?

The slower speeds may just be because you're throttled. Or does it not show LTE at the top at all?

Doesn't show the LTE at the top at all... Only 4g.

Not sure if it's software problem on my phone or just tmobile implanting some new type of throttling...

okay, that means you aren't connected to LTE at all, but it's a possibility you are being throttled while on 4G though because you went past your data limit of fast speed data

one thing you can try is adding the repo "v.backspace.jp/repo" and installing "Carrier Update Remover"

once it's done installing, uninstall it and respring your device

go into settings -> general -> about
wait a few seconds and it should update your carrier version
go into settings -> cellular -> enable lte

wait a while and see if you connect to LTE now

Whether you connect to LTE or not has nothing to do with when your data resets

You should still be able to connect to LTE when being throttled, it's just the data speeds will be slower

Today woke up and my iphone magically started connecting to LTE agian after not wanting to connect for 2 days, I'm guessing it was something on tmobiles part as I didn't change anything and it started connecting again.

And now doesn't want to connect again, hopefully its on tmobiles side and and not a hardware problem...
