Except MacFUSE/NTFS-3g is free and MacDrive costs.
Actually, I have had issues (well, one issue) with the latest version of MacFUSE. I was copying a large file, a 3.5GB ISO of Fedora 10, from an NTFS formatted drive to my iMac, and it crapped out right at 2GB.
I have MacFUSE/NTFS-3g on my iMac, but my wife's MacBook doesn't. I was able to copy the ISO onto her Mac (Macs can read NTFS). So it wasn't that the file was corrupted.
Yes, both MacFUSE and NTFS-3g are completely up-to-date.
Anyway, just a warning that it mightn't work smoothly.
