Hi,
My wife is switching from an XP based THinkPad to a Vista based Vaio.

Do I have to deactivate her account on the Thinkpad, or what.

Basically how do I get her account from one pc to another??

Thanks.
Frank

1) I am presuming that you mean an authorization to play music on the new machine, because there is no need to create a new "iTunes Store Account" for purchases. You can purchase on multiple machines using one account. Just go to "Sign In" at the iTunes Store and use your username and password.

2) Move the library to the new machine, and yes, you will then have to authorize the new machine to play songs purchased on the ThinkPad. To authorize the Vaio, click on one of the purchased songs, and it will ask you for the iTunes Store account name and password in order to play it. You only have to do this once, then all songs purchased on the ThinkPad will play on the Vaio.

3) If you are not keeping the ThinkPad, open iTunes on that machine and go to Advanced>Deauthorize Audible Account. If you are keeping it, there is no need to deauthorize it. You can play the library on both machines (up to 5 devices can play purchased songs).
