Do I need installer??

Guys..

im abot to jailbreak and from various posts on here am i correct in thinking that i do not need installer and should only install cydia, have a 3g by the way

im no expert (read my thread) but as far as i can see their is very little on installer, cydia is much better, saying that when i jb both of them were there.

is installer just like another aapp store.. i heard some people saying you use it to remove apps from your phone

From what I can gather Installer is the old way to install apps on a jailbroken phone. Cydia has replaced it and Installer doesn't offer much over Cydia anyway. I have also read that the new version of Installer is not a good app. Cydia has a function which allows you to manage which apps are installed and to uninstall them. I only installed Cydia on my phone, which I love btw.

No you do not need it. Cydia has everything you will need.
