Just got my new G5...finally...and it still has the OS9 Apps and System folders. I have no need to ever use anything from OS9, so can I just get rid of them? If so, can I just delete them, of should I re-format the HD? Thanks for the advice!

There is certainly no need to reformat your hard disk. You should be able to delete those MacOS 9 applications just by dragging them to the trash.
