Do I need Snow Leopard?

I've got a Mac Mini but it's at my other house and I'm at my mums over Xmas. Anyway, do you think I will need Snow Leopard? I plan on using the Mini for internet, listening to music, playing Football Manager, storing photos, writing text. This is my first Mac so just curious as to what Snow Leopard offers etc. Thanks

All new Macs come with Snow Leopard, and cannot be downgraded to older versions, so I'm a bit confused as to why you're asking... unless you have identified among your list of options a used Mac old enough to come with Leopard.
