Hey,
I recently added a Sabrent 1TB NVME to my Mac Pro 7,1. I run iStat Menus and since adding the drive a couple of weeks ago I've noticed that the Sabrent runs significantly lower temps than the rest of the drives. Thing is, even thought the PCIe board came with a heatsink I've not actually added that heatsink to the Sabrent yet.
Question is, do I need to add the heatsink? What benefit will I get, especially when you keep in mind that it's running a lower temp already?
