i jailbraked my 16 GB iphone 3G with pwnagetool 3.0 yesterday on my Mac. is this phone all set to be used on an ATT go phone plan? or will i run into any problems? am i better off unlocking it as well or keeping it and trying as is?

I am not exactly sure if it would work but since it is AT&T why wouldn't it. Anyways, the software unlock for the 3G (ultrasn0w) is coming out so even if it doesn't work now, it would work when it comes out and also with other GSM companies.

It wont work yet!!

My 3g 8gb iPhone is unlocked on firmware 2.2 using yellowsnow, so yes u will need to unlock it first to use with 3g on 3.0. ATT sent me a text stating the new software in 3.0 may not work without a iphone data plan:mad:

This is the text i was referring to!!

As u can see i have a jailbroken and unlocked 3g, but att has somehow foun out i was using my unlimited medianet gophone plan on an iphone and sent this text concerning 3.0 firmware
