my macbook was shipped on nov 12th (lastest cpu etc) and i got it on nov 20th. the rom is
MB21.00A5.B00

the MacBook EFI Firmware Update 1.0 was released on nov 13th and says after the update the rom will be
MB11.0061.B03

so do i need to update?

its alittle confusing as my number is higher.

my macbook is slow to sleep and come out f sleep compared to my powerbook but nothing weird that ive noticed.

and my macbook is (touch wood) running perfectly. i have everything perfectly the way i want it and everything works. i dont want to introduce any problems.

When I first got my MBP I tried updating to the latest firmware and it wouldn't let me since it was already running the latest. So I don't think it would hurt too much if you tried... Worst thing that could happen is it will reject the firmware update... Of course it could be different with the MBs...
