Ive been speaking to Apple care for 2 hours, and they have finally agreed to refund me. I have to take the computer back to the Apple store.
Do i have to book a genius appointment ?
I have my case ID and Apple Care said, all the info is in my notes, and I can have a straight refund, so im hoping I can just walk in and get it sorted, its a 2 hour drive, and dont really want to travel, if i get there and they wont see, also I have looked and the next appointment isn't available till next week

Dude, just call the Apple Store and ask them. If anyone in the World can answer that question, it's them.

Find their opening hours online, and call them as they open. They'll answer the phone then. Not when they're busy (although they really should have someone available...), but don't mission down there without knowing what they'll do.

If they persist in not answering, call AppleCare and ask them to put you through to the store. I bet you'll get someone on the phone then.
