I’ve been iMac less for 3ish years now? Maybe 4. I went all in with iPP a few years ago because our home internet was absolutely awful, and I went all in on LTE. Hotspot use was prohibited on those early unlimited plans, so I decided to just ditch the desktop completely.

The only thing I have ever really missed is the ability to store all my photos, and make photo books in Shutterfly, but, with a lot of years of photo yearbooks to be made, that has actually been fairly critical.

FF to now, and we recently got some really good satellite internet due to my p/t work from home job. I am toying with getting a desktop again after the new iMac release.

Honestly, with it being years since I’ve had an iMac, I could likely go with the previous one that Apple is still selling, although I’m sure I’d want Retina display.

So, would you go back to a desktop? If so, would you even consider the previous iMac, or would you not even bother and just go with the retina?

A laptop is not an option - just not a fan at all of laptops.
