My Late 2011 MacBook Pro that I used to have used to switch to the integrated graphics when not doing things that required the graphics chip in order to save power. I know I don't have to worry about a battery but I'm still curious. Does anyone know if the iMacs use the integrated graphics when nothing is using the capabilities of the gpu?

There's no way to switch to the iGPU on iMacs. It appears to be disabled in some fashion

That is somewhat a disappointment but I'm still loving it.

I can't wait for my memory to show up. I purchased another 16GB of the 1867MHz DDR3 RAM so I can bump it up to 32GB installed. It cost me $89.27 by buying two of these.
