We have an emac which is less than two years old running 10.3.9, and when we got it the guy at apple said that apple wouldnt force you to uprgade if you want to use it wih your ipod in the future. Well I got an ipod touch which doesnt work on it. My dad just ordered a new mac book and i was wondering if i could use the disks it comes with and install it on the emac?

Dont say thats dishonest because a. its just a quick way around transferring my music to his laptop and b. because the apple employee lied (well im sure he didnt know in 2005 that in 2007 the ipod touch would come out but you know what i mean)

A third thread on trying to get your iPod touch working?

Buy Leopard when it becomes available.
