iPhone Do Not Disturb on Lock Screen

I wish Apple would add mute and airplane mode to the lock screen as a notification as well. You'd be surprised how many average users do not realize their phone is in airplane mode, muted (vol @ zero) or in DND mode. Especially parents, grandparents and non techie folks.
If you really wanna get rid of it, you can just swipe it out. But I quite like it. I usually forget if my phone is in DND mode if it’s not there. 
What’s up with that setting? Is my phone going into DND automatically at night without my requesting it? I’m noticing after updating to iOS 13 in the morning a message that I didn’t yet screenshoot that appears to indicate my phone is in DND mode at night, and I’m missing important text messages at night. What the heck is going on?
Have you checked in settings > do not disturb and made sure scheduled isn’t turned on by any chance?

Are you using Bedtime Alarm? There's another setting under options for do not disturb durning bedtime.

Come on Apple, I think something here should have been more obvious, or this should have been better stupid-proofed. First, I never noticed the options “button” at the top of the bold Bedtime alarm intro/header, maybe because “options” looks like text and hardly a button, as it doesn’t stand out above the bold title. I’d think it’d be better off below the bold intro title, with..THE REST OF THE OPTIONS AND SETTINGS, otherwise the intro title is not really an intro/title, no?
More importantly, this tie-in to Bedtime doesn’t show at the Do Not Disturb options in Settings. It seems like it should.
Whatever improvement could happen, it sure shouldn’t take having to Google and post at a forum to figure out something “simple” like this imho.

I'd love a setting to remove the DND notification. I get that it can be useful to some, but it's so frustrating having it there all the time if you activate DND whilst at work.
Well, dismissing/clearing that notification from the screen seems to work on a per-activation/session basis.
True, but I tend to turn it on/off a couple times a day so it gets a bit annoying after a while.
