Do not disturb schedule

Hi

Just bought an Iphone8 for my daughter. Normally I set her phone to switch into Do not disturb mode during school hours, Monday to Friday, and also at night time.
Am I right in thinking that this cannot be done on an iphone8?? I cannot set individual days?
Is there a way of setting monday to friday alarms, and leave the weekend out of the schedule?

Separate daily scheduling of DND isn’t possible. But DND is visible in control center. Just tap it to turn on or off.

My first experience with an Iphone and Im very suprised this basic function isnt possible.
My daughter is 12 with a serious medical condition that affects hee cognition, she doesn't always remember to turn on and off DnD mode.

Oh well. back to android.

Is it possible to upgrade the os on an iphone8 to the latest os version?

New feature for iOS 15. Not available on iOS 14

I updated to 15 and its now possible to create different dnd schedules, perfect!

This is also possible on an iphone 8 using the Shortcuts app (built in, or free to install from apple) on ios 14.x


You will need a shortcuts guru to help you craft compound rules, or find a Shortcuts sites and model it yourself.
