I think the DND while driving is going to be a great safety addition to iOS 11

I like to use the reminders app to notify me when I am near a certain location. For example, I set a reminder to pick up a prescription when I am near my local Walgreens. Does DND while driving also suppress those type of notifications as well? I assume it would since the premise is to reduce the interruptions while driving.

I think you just need to try it on your next drive...just set up a fake reminder knowing you will pass the place it should send a reminder to you. Let everyone know.

I would hope a reminder would be displayed. You can't eliminate all the distractions. I would think a GPS app be more distracting than a reminder.

One thing that would help is a rotating lock screen like the iPad, so you can actually read the notifications.
