DO they? I plan on sticking with 10.8 and not updating to 10.9

are updates still pushed to the older OS?

lol nope. Apple tend to ditch support as soon as a new OS is released. Security updates happen on occasions. Rest assured, by the time OS 11 or 10.10 is released, 10.8 will be long dead.

Ugh, are security updates still pushed?

Thats my only concern

I am still running Snow Leopard because of the age of my Macbook (early 2008) and got a security update a few weeks ago. Just got a security update for Safari (5.1.10). I am getting closer to having to update my computer.
