I'll be ordering a refurb i5 when they are posted. I'll respond then. I would like to think that they would have replaced anything "defective". I guess that could also be said before it is sold the first time.

There is a difference between a refurb and a new product.

A random sample of new products typically less than 1% are taken from the line and tested.

ALL refurbs will be fully tested.

I just got my 21.5" refurb yesterday after ordering two days ago. It has no issues, including screen tinge, or anything of the likeness.
