I have to question, you look at how beautiful an Apple product is, and how tremendously well they do, why do Sony insist on making products that look like a 2 year old designed them - it's so messy and ugly.

The answer is yes:

Sony can design many beautiful things, when they put their mind to it. But I think the probably is they have a lot of talent spread to thinly.

And when I saw the Blu-Ray player for the first time it was obvious it wasn't one of their better efforts.

Well obviously I know ythey have product designers, because they obviously designed their new TVs well, but who on earth would want that ugly White box next to a piece of such beauty...

Visited a Sony Style store for the first time over the weekend in San Diego and thought at first I was walking into an Apple store.

I'm missing something. I bought the one pictured and I thought it looked nice. It's about the same size as the PSP3 and to me it looks much nicer.

Besides the Blue-ray is beautiful and the Google TV functions well.

it's not just SONY man...i'm so shocked to say Apple is the only company put there which care about designs.

and i'm even surprised not so many people talk about it...yes i want my product to have good features and to be reasonably priced but if i'm going to buy it then it has to be good looking too!

get some designers for heavens sake.

My car looks much nicer right-side-up rather than from underneath...

IMO the Sony Internet TV/Blueray player is beautiful.
