On iOS 9, when you look at your message details, you see all the media shared in the conversation. Currently, my conversations are full of gifs and bitmojis, and I imagine this will get worse with iOS 10's stickers implementation. Does anyone know if the stickers bypass the media folder? Do stickers take up storage in iOS 10 like they currently do?

You know you can delete that stuff, right?

There are two sections when you tap "i" for Details. Images and attachments. Stickers and gifs show up under Images. I don't believe they save, long pressing on one in the Details window gives options to save or delete. Tapping "more" gives the same options but to select multiple items at a time.

When you send as many bitmojis as my friends do, deleting them becomes too time consuming ;)

So stickers mix in with actual shared photos? Bummer. Wish they had cleaned this up. Thanks for the answer!

They did split it up. There are two tabs. Images and Attachments. (I believe iOS 9 only has "Attachments"

Built in Stickers and gifs seem to fall into the Images tab.

Oh awesome! I thought attachments were going to be the rich links, but you're right that attachments are on iOS 9. Great!!

When sending those special stickers etc., there is a "keep" under each of those new stuff.
I don't know if tapping on "keep" could save it and missing it would just leave it be.
