I have been using the 12.9" iPad Pro for the last year since release. I recently picked up an 11" for traveling. I went to wipe off the screen and not pressing very hard I noticed some of the screen discolor. I have noticed this occasionally copying and pasting too. I never noticed this on the 12.9. So my question is...does the 11" have a thinner glass panel?

I don't think so.

I think it’s the same, just some units are more prone to color changes when you press the LCD than others.
