I see these USB-C hubs that attach to the bottom of the screens on Amazon and was wondering if they attach well enough to be useful or should I just buy a dock that sits on the desk under the computer.

Also Amazon has the G40 Thunderbolt 3 1 TB on sale for $169 if you are looking. Mine will be here on Friday and I will be able to have my entire photo library without eating up the iMac’s SSD.

Thanks

I seen those, but in my opinion it looks like it's a 2 hand plug in and remove. I watched some videos and it appears you need to steady the unit while plugging in and removing. Its not much of a clamp device, nor do you want it to be.

I purchased this and no issues at all. The weight of the iMac makes it very sturdy.

‘Does it have rubber or non-slip feet on it. Does the new iMac fit on top just as they show in the images?

I like this much better.

ORDERED! Be here Saturday. Thanks!

Yes and Yes, I ordered this internal drive for it. I moved my photo library and downloaded games To this drive.

it gets 700’s reads and 800’s writes. It is plenty fast for photos and games.

I have a 700GB photo image library from my long term love of digital photography.

I ordered this: SanDisk Professional 1TB PRO-G40 SSD - Up to 3000MB/s, Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps), USB-C (10Gbps), IP68 dust/Water Resistance, External Solid State Drive - SDPS31H-001T-GBCND

It will be here tomorrow. My images and some of my AutoCad files are very large and they work good on the Thunderbolt 3
