Hey I was wondering if the current gen Mac Mini comes with OS X Mountain Lion preinstalled or is it just a free upgrade?
Also expecting new mini's anytime soon as the rumor mill goes?

Apple store on iPhone says "OSX Mountain Lion" in the details in the cart. Also on the website, when you click Mac Mini it says "Now available with OSX Mountain Lion".
I'm assuming both those means it ships with ML installed.
Like the post before me though, why would that matter? If it ships with Lion, upgrade to ML first thing. Doesn't matter, except for like 20 minutes to download and install lol. If you are planning on putting an SSD in anyway, guess what you have to do regardless of what it ships with

matters if you sell it. you have to set it back to lion.
Why would that be an issue? If you purchase ML (or even if it's a free upgrade because the computer you received didn't get updated in the warehouse) you're allowed to sell the computer with ML.
There's no reason to set it back to lion.
I can go purchase an old 2007 mini and it'll come with either Lion or ML, I guarantee it. That is, if the owner updated. If not, then obviously it would come with SL. But the 07 mini came with Leopard. Does that mean they have to revert back to leopard to sell it?
The only way that could make sense is if you wanted to use your license from upgrading to ML on a different computer. But from what I understand (could be completely wrong) ML can be installed on as many computers as you have when using the same Apple ID.
