Do the MacBooks still have a sleep light...?

Trivial question, I know - but I haven't seen a MacBook in person yet and was just curious if they still have the internal sleep light as featured on the iBooks. Also, while I'm on the the subject, what is the little pill-shaped thing next to the infra-red receiver on the MacBook's front? Is it the new location of the internal mic?

The little pill-shaped thing on the front is the sleep light.
