the one thing I liked about iOS not having a file system was that malicious files, in theory if downloaded would be isolated. With the new file system, does this open up potential for viruses, Trojans, etc. or are there some built in features to restrict this?

Thanks.

so far it seems like the files app is somewhat sandboxed, which makes sense because Apple isn't stupid enough to take out all security and leave iOS 11 little better than windows in terms of security. i mean 'no viruses' has been a selling point for the operating system for a while now
