I've seen several Turbo Sim unlock tools that use the little chip that sits in the iphone with your sim card and allow you to use it on other networks, has anyone actually tried these on the 3gS? I have found several websites that guarantee 100% that they will work with the new phone, I am not interested in jailbreaking my new iphone just using it on tmobile.

Also curious

I am also wondering if anybody out there who has used this and if it has worked. Preferably somebody with a buttload of real posts (to show you're a regular here, and not some dude that's working for TurboChip or similar company).

I really would like to just unlock the phone. I have no desire (yet) to jailbreak it. I don't want to screw around with the phone and possibly mess up the security or anything else. I'm going to travel in europe and just want the thing to work on their networks with their sim cards. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks

Sim card Unlock on 3GS ?

I've seen proof of an effective unlock on a 3G using a sandwiched simcard. Don't know if it works on 3GS.
I would be interested in using a card to unlock my 3GS.
My 3GS has not been activated in any way; it still sits in its box, being patient (unlike me). What would be the best way to unlock it so I can use my T-Mobile account? Card or software? Any advise?
