just curious if they still stock first gen iphones for replacement under warranty/ if they will ever stop stocking them and just give those few still under warranty an upgrade. I have a first gen under warranty until june and it just had a bubble appear under the screen and wanted to know if there is any value in waiting to do the replacement.

thanks

Be happy because if your old one breaks and you buy a 3Gs you are forced to buy a more expensive plan for your trouble. If you get another 2G, then you can keep the same plan.

Mine broke, just part of the screen is dead, so I'll wait until the contract is up and go to pay as you go unless AT&T suddenly comes up with reception here and also a tiered plan. I don't use enough data to make it worth a big monthly bill.
