Do you buy extended Onsite Warranty and/or Accidental Damage Protection plan? If so, how many years?

Hi, for MBP, I always buy Apple Care as Apple has exchanged a brand new computer for me before. I have not used Thinkpad for almost 20 years and haven't used a Thinkpad since Lenovo took over. Is it recommended to buy extended Onsite Warranty and Accidental Damage Protection? What is the recommended number of years? Do you buy it when purchasing the laptop or wait until later?

I went with 4 because on average that is how long I tend to keep a machine before replacing it. I did opt for onsite and ADP. If I recall, 4 years was still less expensive than Apples 2 year AC+

Nope, I buy my electronics with an American Express card that gives me a second year of coverage and even accidental damage.

4 yrs with Lenovo. Peace of mine and that’s how long I will keep my notebook. Some customers that I have read that had issues still had to bring their systems into Lenovo. So I did not opt for on-site service just send in warranty.
