Everyone would be fired.
after iTunes 11 & early 12 releases there would've been a major shakeup. and i don't believe beats & company happens either. also, iOS 10 music app is horrid. he probably would flip the lid.

Of course not. He would tell the iTunes project manager how he wanted it to work, and then they would go get it done.

agreed, seems as if a lot of apple services are trial & error anymore. under jobs the UI seemed so right even tho not perfect. the user experience importance doesn't seem to be there anymore.

What are your issues with the iTunes UI? I find it laggy, but I use the majority of everything in it.
very laggy, blue screen of death color scheme, doesn't save your place, no personalization in store except for there recommendations, refer to the tool bar for certain screen changes, etc...
the most important is the flow of it. hasn't been there since 10.7 IMO. It seems iOS 10 music is the direction there going and migrating the two or transitioning to apple music. which is looks first then UI. i want UI first then looks.
steve jobs had a passion for music. he understood the feel of good music, not just the sound. he incorporated that into iTunes of old. and thats why many got on the apple train. it was the simple feel good interface of apple, which i think is fading away.

The BSOD sounds like a hardware problem. Are there certain patterns where that happens?

I agree though, the color scheme could be better.

All valid complaints, better than the usual arguments about how everything should be separated into multiple apps like iBooks.

This past October made five years since his death. That's an eternity in the computer/tech/consumer goods arena. It's pointless to speculate what Jobs would have done. As already stated, iTunes was a disaster while he was here. Focus would be better spent on getting it finally fixed here and now.
