like on microsoft mobile ultimate human interface edition??????

everytime I flashed my q (or treo) it wipes everything. Now, ipods are upgraded and all my songs, pictures and contacts are still there. I would expect the same for my iphone.

Does anyone know?

It will work exactly the same way that iPods work today with software upgrades and it doesn't destroy user data or anything of the sort (unless you choose to do a restore).
