and the SSD speed of the 512 and 1TB models? Has the embargo been lifted?

In the past, I asked Apple the speeds of SSD in various M2 Mini models and they said that they had no idea!

It most likely won't be slower, those NAND chips go on a daughter card instead of being soldered on the main board like the MBA and the mini. And if I were Apple I would just keep using the same "card" part for generations of Mac Studios until major internal design change is needed.

If the cards are the same, then we may even see a slight speed increase due to the M2 gen having improved storage controller on die.

That sounds good. Didn't know Mac Studio's SSD NAND chips are on a separate daughter card.
