Ok at work, we have an App to access our stuff but sometimes it redirects to a browser.

If we're using Safari and have Private Relay turned on, we get blocked. We have to either turn off Private Relay OR use another browser (Chrome) and manually navigate to where we need to go. Just a hassle.

But this got me thinking... is Private Relay really that important? I remember when it first came out, I saw a page loading performance hit. Now I don't sense it but having to work around it for work is annoying.

It’s not needed and I would argue it’s more a selling point for Apple to continue the idea they’re the privacy conscious mega corporation.

It’s useful if you want to conceal your browsing history from your ISP.
