So we all know that some companies hide their dirt regarding security issues. Given this fact, it is with hesitation that I purchase items that I have had my eye on. I'm hoping to get feedback regarding my concerns as to whether or not I can trust these items for network connectivity, and additionally the USB adaptor because a USB device can present itself as any device to the system (keyboard etc.).

Item One includes Ethernet port: I really like this particular device because it has a detachable cable along with other attributes.

Item two is a sturdily built product. If you know of other name brand products that are the same, I would appreciate links.

I'm also looking at the same brand for USB C cables.
