I am running Win7 via bootcamp, and although they say it is "native", I have found that programs take a lot longer to load initially in bootcamp. Once it is up and running, it is pretty much just like running it on a PC, but that initial load is really slow.

Anyone else have the same problem?

What programs do this occur on?

On Microsoft programs I get that from first run, but afterwards it speeds up quite a bit. A reason behind this is the .NET Framework. It's like Java and has to setup it's environment to run in, but once the environment is up it transfers all of the controls back to the OS.

Running Windows through Boot Camp is great; fast and reliable. It's okay if some programs take a bit of time to run, Windows 7 itself is heavy on a machine.
