I am mostly using iPad at night while in bed for reading, internet, music, etc. Currently using the mini but curious as to how those of you that use the 10.5 pro find it and if it feels too heavy?
iPads aren't Meant to hold like your iPhone for several hours. That's why MOST iPhone Doesn't HAVE STAND CASE unlike the iPad. iPhone whether it is REGULAR OR PLUS can be easily hold for 10 hours straight, while the iPad Mini/Air/Pros can be only hold for several minutes before your hand hurts.I am mostly using iPad at night while in bed for reading, internet, music, etc. Currently using the mini but curious as to how those of you that use the 10.5 pro find it and if it feels too heavy?
Yes. That’s the right word - “balance”. The thing that is so mysteriously seductive about the 10.5” is it’s “balance”. While reading in portrait mode, the weight with the ASC but no back cover is akin to holding a 200-250 page academic text (hardcover)...to me!Depends. One handed use can be difficult depending if the iPad is supported or not. But as large as it is and unwieldy, It has a nice balance to it.

It has some heft, but it's ok. I picked up my mini today and remembered why the mini is such a cool little device. But I wouldn't give up my 10.5" pro.
I would say for reading, it is a bit too heavy to hold for more than 30 minutes. For reading, I'm still a big fan of the Kindle.
