Are we really rehashing the same things over again that are already being discussed in a number of threads?

Yes it stutters on my iPad 4, Infact, the bug exists on : iPad 3, iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display.
And iPhone 6 Plus. I see small issues on my iPhone 6, too. And the 5S I'm assuming has the same small issues. In other words, it happens on every device with the blurred app previews in the background. 6S and Air 2 probably show the least issues because they are ridiculously powerful so they just plow through the slop that Apple calls an app switcher.

Because of the lack of blurring effects, iPad mini 1 renders the app switcher at a perfect 60FPS almost all the time, where my iPad mini 2 is a disaster. Little issues occur when going back to the home screen from the switcher, but it's NOTHING EVEN CLOSE to comparable to what happens on my iPad mini 2. Not acceptable that hardware from 2011 runs UI smoother than hardware from 2013. Spotlight is also like 60FPS on the iPad mini 1 while it is a bit slower on my iPad mini 2. This should not happen.

Every. Single. One. Micro/nano/iota, whatever stutter they can nitpick at will have its own thread. And then the sequel to that thread will come when a new beta arrives. And when iOS10 launches; look out. It is a little ridiculous. There's occasional stutter. Most are aware. They need to sticky a "stutter" thread and call it a day.

The lag/stutter is still there with 3rd party keyboards like Swype or others in Spotlight search especially on my iPhone 5s running 9.1 beta 5 and with my iPad mini2 running 9.0.2 the stutter/lag is in many places besides Spotlight search such as Notes, Safari when showing the 3rd party keyboards like Swype (some lag) or Path Input (major lag). Swype did get a iOS9 update recently but still no changes in response (lag/stutter).

Third party keyboards are a nightmare on iOS.They have animation glitches, are slow and don't even work for passwords. Its a half baked feature unlike the sleek smooth variant on Android
