I'm waiting to begin my trial once I hear that MobileMe is without most bugs. I want to use push for the new email address and eventually transfer all my emails/folders from yahoo mail over to it.

So is MobileMe ready for primetime?

I think you're asking the wrong forum. Heck, asking in a forum at all seems fruitless. However, you can probably check the most recent posts in the forums regarding MobileMe and learn that there are still some kinks to be worked out.

Shakey start, but all fine now for me.

I don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch, but my Mac and MobileMe is all in sync. I'm waiting for Apple to update Mail to support Push Email, and for them to update iCal and Address Book to allow pushing of updated/new entries.

Apple pushed the 'push' feature. This is why I want it. Great feature to 'share' with spouse for iCal and the iPhone. I wonder if you can share Notes or a todo list for grocery shopping and it push automatically?

It's working okay here. The calendar app on the MobileMe site is simply amazing but some changes made to my contacts on MobileMe aren't saved or pushed to my iPod Touch like the calendars are.

Seems to work fine is all you deal with is Apple products...

Anything PC, especially Outlook 2003, is majorly broken.

Can someone update on the remaining bugs? I've been waiting for the updates and Apple to catch up before I jump on board.

Just do it... that is the best way to learn it...

Sure I could learn, but was an unwilling beta tester for years with the Treo. Don't want to be a mobile me tester.

Apple have admitted they under-estimated the complexity of it all. The fundamentals work, and I'm a very satisfied customer. However, others say that there is still some hiccups.

If you need it, get it now, otherwise wait until January. Steve Jobs said they aim to make it a service to be proud of by the end of the year, and I'd guess that they'll make an announcement at Macworld San Francisco in January with new improved features, maybe the whole push fiasco sorted out etc.
