Hello guys,

today I went for a walk and shot some pictures with my iPhone.

Back at home I edited some of my pictures.

I am curious what exactly the point is to adjust the definition of my picture when editing it?

I find it very hard to find an answer for this?

Could someone explain this to me - in which use case I „need“ definition adjustment?

Here is an example of the setting.

First everything is unedited, second is 100% definition adjustment:

For me it just looks more punchy and that’s it - is that all to this setting?

Ok, so the definition adjustment is just a setting to give your pictures more punch, as I understand your reply!?

“Definition” really isn’t a traditional photo editing term.
Increasing definition basically means it increases contrast and applies software sharpening so that the photo has more “definition”.

For iPhone picture editing, use whatever adjustments are available until the photo looks good to you.
