Other Do you guys use the "pinned conversations" feature on IOS14?

I personally hate the way it looks but have seen a few of my friends have up to 8 or 9 pinned contacts at the top of their iPhones.

Do you guys pin your favorite contacts??
 
I like it as keeps everything track able and the main contacts set up where they need to be not like you need to use it

Why is it that sometimes the pinned convseration falls off the “pin” section?

And when i long press that conversation...it is pined already but does not appear at the top.
 
Yes. Have 7 pinned conversations on my personal phone and 3 on my work phone.
 
One of the b3st additions to iOS in awhile. I just wish you could see a preview of the most recent message in there like you can in the other conversations.

Feature's pretty handy for frequent contacts. Too bad I can't use it on the iPhone yet.

I agree about wishing it would just show up as normal except pinned to the top similar to how it works for pinned Notes.

Totally agree. I anticipated the option, but the big images without text are useless and take up too much screen.
 
I love it and one of my favorite features. I use the max pinned (family members and also groups like my Wife and Son or my nieces). If i need to see the last message I just long press for a preview.

I also love for the Max when you turn in landscape you get a dual paned view with the pinned conversations.
 
I have one family group that's mostly an ongoing stream of pictures of the new toddler. For that one, I've pinned it but turned off notifications, to keep it visible without its being disruptive.

This is exactly why I don't currently use it. If they would just pin the messages to the top instead of making the floating contact bubble at the top and omitting the preview, I would totally be in.

So I just asked my younger sister if she's uses it and she went on this big rant on how she's got in fights with friends about who's pinned and who's not LOL reminded me of MySpace top 8
