Wow thats quite cool. I remember there was someone on the boards here that was trying to earn one of every single Mac ever made. Pretty good stuff.

I just have my MacBook though. :p

I currently have 3 but have owned 4.

First was my PB, which I sold to my sis and bought the iMac, which I still have. I then bought an iBook, which was replaced by a MBP. My son and wife use the iMac and iBook now but we'd like to have just one or the other right now. Guess we'll wait and see.

I've had a maximum of 11 Macs in the house. Currently down to 4.

I visited the home of one Mac collector who had dozens of Macs in a single room.

I only have 2 right now. I had a room mate before and between the two of us we had 6 (yeah... he had four...) but that was the most ever... unless iPod's count.

100 is overkill, but its not like he is playing them all, so I guess more nerdy than overkill . With a macbook and a mini, the mini is getting less and less use. If it wasn't for it being hooked up to the TV and the surround sound for itunes, I would probably sell it.

I am in the 20's myself. I don't want to count them all right now. I just had to count out all 11 of my g3's. There are guys here with way more than me and I know a couple that could beat that guy's collection easy. He just bought a lot of classics from a school and displays them nicely. His imac collection is nice, and I do have TAM envy, but I don't think anyone can rival my laptop collection:D

I have three.

And when leopard finally comes out i'll get a 4th as a storage server.
SATA drives in either an xserve or old G4 :)

My dad has at least 8 in various states of use .. and a few more old enough to be Apples but not Macs.

Well as of now there is only one Mac in my collection which is soon to turn into two. I can see it keep growing like an exponential function which is almost a scary thought.

here is his website wth pictures...

Thanks for the link camomac.

I have a IIe, IIc, IIgs (which I used forever), PowerMac G3 233 MHz beige, PowerMac G5 1.8 GHz, PowerBook G4 12" 1.33 GHz and now a black MacBook and I always threaten my wife that I would setup one room in the house as my Apple Computer museum, but this guy really did it. Darn impressive!!!

I wonder how much he has invested in his basement?

We all need hobbies. Just because that guy works in retail doesn't mean all apple collectors do. I personally don't like the attention he has gotten. There are many other collectors out there with better stuff than him, arranged much nicer.
