I have this password app that has an update out, but I am afraid all of my data will be lost if I update the app. To backup the data, I'd need to buy their desktop application.

Same here. I updated it by mistake and realized that I had put it on my wife phone not updated. I erased the new version and just reinstalled the old one.

I WISH I had never updated my Zynga Live Poker app. I had 471,000+ chips and it wasn't linked to my Facebook, which is how I wanted it. Once I updated it, it wouldn't let me log back in without connecting my Facebook, and it wiped out all my chips since I had none on the Facebook version.

Still mad about that one.
