iPhone X Do you have loss/theft coverage for your X?

I have AC+ for my iPhone X, but since it’s such an expensive device, I’m thinking about adding on loss/theft insurance through Verizon. Do you guys have any coverage on your X, and if yes, what are you using? What is the best option out there right now?

I didn’t bother with AC+ as I wanted coverage to include loss/theft.
In the UK our bank accounts offer mobile cover as part of their packages so I’m using that.

Depending on how others paid for their device, some credit card companies also offer insurance as well that will cover loss/theft.

AT&T covers lost and theft for $8.99 a month through Asurion. Declining deductibles make it an easy choice over AC+ this year, especially if you plan on upgrading in a year.

I have Apple Care Plus but no theft protection. My theft protection is to not carelessly leave it unattended.

yes i do with verizon for $7 a month, i also have applecare. i travel a lot so i dont want to risk losing or getting this expensive phone stolen!

Haha Blaine, me too. I don’t ever leave my phone laying out, just afraid of it getting stolen though (aka getting robbed etc)

Hmm, this is good to know. I know Verizon also has the $11 a month plan, but since we have AC+ I don’t think we’ll need that one.

I have no loss insurance and do not do Apple Care +.

In 10 years never lost my iPhone and never needed extended warranty services. The money I have saved would easily cover the cost of my iPhone if something did happen.

Check your homeowners/renters insurance, mine has a tech plan add-on that covers loss/theft/destruction/accidents and it is an extra $10-20 a month but it covers every single piece of tech in my house.

I’ve just added it to my husband’s bank insurance. It’s £50 for a damage claim and £100 for loss or theft.

My bank credit card has theft protection but it says maximum value replacement is $200. Not going to help much with my cell phone being $1100. I do have Iup but are you saying that theft protection isn't included? Eek

Same here. My X goes everywhere with me, and I always ensure to constantly check my pockets if I'm out with my wife at a bar or restaurant.
