If I order a MBP and get the yellow tints, crappy headphone sounds or uneven lid online do I have to pay for any shipping or so to have it replaced?

There are no apple stores around here so I don't have much other choices.

Impressive how Apple can always fail with their laptops.

I do not see it as Apple's failing, the thing is if you get some issues like the ones mentioned with Dells, people just do not care
Ok, guess that might be true for uneven case lid and not perfect sound output. Maybe people accept all screens aren't so good either aswell.

I don't even know if one can argue that someone is wrong on the screen if "that's how it's supposed to be"?

On my Nintendo DS the lower screen got a more yellow tint that the upper screen, but it's a touchscreen so it might be different and it's a cheap gadget so I don't care about that, but I would care if I saw a noticable difference on an LCD on a laptop I guess. Thought sadly enough I wouldn't expect an 18 bit TN-panel with 110 degrees viewing angle to be awesome.

Anyway, the important thing was: Does it cost any money to exchange them?
