Do you have to view full screen?

I'm considering an Apple TV however I'm concerned about the quality of my ITMS music videos on my HD plasma. Is there anyway to view these in the correct resolution (smaller size on the TV) so the quality is execllent rather than blown up full size with the degredation of quality?
